“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” - Matthew 11:28
The Central Kansas Chaplains Initiative was founded on a need identified in the surrounding communities to raise up spiritual leaders with the skill set to support, comfort and love others during traumatic life events.
Our Purpose
CKC is intended to not only unify religious leaders, but to train them to effectively assist in times of duress. To step in with confidence, peace and love while allowing medical teams and healthcare organizations to keep focus on their tasks at hand.
By equipping pastors, bishops and priests with the skills needed to understand how to work with medical teams, they become more productive and useful. In essence, CKC will be working to bring together medical and spiritual organizations to holistically treat and heal individuals when they are seeking counsel and aid in sometimes the most desperate of situations.
